Kalziumkorrektur

Der Anteil an zirkulierendem ionisierten Kalzium hängt von zwei wesentlichen Faktoren ab, der Proteinkonzentration und dem Blut-pH. Eine hohe Albuminkonzentration führt deshalb zu einem Abfall von ionisiertem Kalzium.

Die Berechnung erfolgt nach folgender Formel (Payne et al.) : Korr. Kalzium = c(S-Kalzium [mmol/l]) – 0,025 * c(Albumin[g/l]) + 1

Mit dieser Berechnung kann die Konzentration von ionisiertem Kalzium abgeschätzt werden.
